DISCOVERING THE BEAUTY OF PEOPLE'S PARK IN DAVAO CITY

 

People's park also known as ''P. Park'' is one of  the famous tourist spot in Davao City . It is surrounded by beautiful and amusing views, such as, the flower garden, the children's playground, the hallway with gallery walk, mini forest, jogging place, big oval, resting place and many more, It is the place where tourists, family, friends, couples and everyone who want to spend time and give peace to their-selves. As what we have observed, this is the place of happiness because it give you an extra ordinary comfort and relaxation. 

The People's Park was created through the conversion of the old PTA Grounds or the Palaruang Panlunsod, a sporting and events venue of the city, into a park.

The conversion of the grounds into the "PTA Park" which costed ₱71 million was commenced in July 2006. The park had a soft opening in August 2007 during the Kadayawan festival.

It was inaugurated on December 15, 2007 and was named "People's Park" which was chosen among the 918 entries of the "Name the Park" contest organized by the city government. The winning name was by Romeo Sardon, a retired engineer and seaman. In December 2007, the project was 90 percent complete, with the other 10 percent to be implemented by early 2008. Looking at the Park you can witness the breathtaking scenes and structure of nature that you cannot see in other places. You can see distinctive interior with clean environment that everyone would surely love. 

You can also see the unique beauty of Dabawenyos, their are many tribes and ethnic groups living in the city.

These are the preserved moments of significant activities as well as the festivals in Davao City that is putted in the hallway.

Talking about the air, well, you can really feel the freshening and smooth atmosphere with the cleanliness they maintain. 

The fragrance of the leaves and flowers are really refreshing.

The chirping of the birds everywhere makes you really think of staying in the forest, you can imagine deeply and somehow you can meditate peacefully through the singing of birds. 

The noise of the playing children is extremely satisfying, their laughs and cries gives you a reminiscence of your childhood days. The chatting and murmur of many visitors are also significant in this place.

This place is good, watching the fish swimming is adorable.

The food near the park would not be the least because, street foods and local products are usually the best food to eat when you get hungry while strolling. 

The structures inside was perfectly crafted and so much good for pictorials.

And so we conclude, that the People's Park in Davao City is a best place to be visited by everyone, with the friendly people and clean environment is definitely a comeback.
